Bioethics and Family Conversations:
Primer on Normative and Legal Ethics as Applied to Medical Decision-making

Chances are that you or a family member will at some point need medical attention requiring hospitalization.  As a practitioner, you may be asked to assist a client in completing a health care proxy or living will and otherwise make known a client’s wishes. This interactive program will explore the interplay of the law, personal beliefs, ethical considerations, medical circumstance, and the assessment of the care team in medical decision-making and treatment.
