Bio
Daniela joined Legal Services of the Hudson Valley in 2015 as a staff attorney and later became a supervising attorney. She represents survivors of domestic violence in Family Court matters and has supervised attorneys in both the Family Law and Immigration Units. Daniela also serves as a resource to colleagues on domestic violence–related legal issues to all Legal Services of the Hudson Valley staff.
Daniela earned her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from the University at Albany, State University of New York. She is actively involved in the Westchester Women’s Bar Association, where she currently serves as recording secretary. She also serves as co-chair of the WWBA’s Families, Children, and the Courts Committee.
Earlier in her career, Daniela volunteered with the NYC Anti-Violence Project and the New York State Access to Justice Program for Uncontested Divorces. She is a certified Rape Crisis Counselor and has volunteered as both a Hospital Advocate and Hotline Advocate with Victims Assistance Services.
