*Green infrastructure is becoming an increasingly important tool to reduce stormwater generation and mitigate its impacts, particularly in more urbanized communities. The discussion will focus on the integration of green infrastructure practices with the land use approval process in New York State and how one community, Newburgh, NY is looking to its Conservation Advisory Council to champion green infrastructure's use.
