The Pace Women's Justice Center will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year. As you may have heard, PWJC is honoring the Westchester Women’s Bar Association, whose support has been so instrumental to the growth of the Center.
Please save the date for this year’s Making a Difference Annual Benefit Dinner that will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle, NY.
This event will raise much-needed support for PWJC, which annually provides free legal services to almost 3,000 victims and survivors of domestic violence and elder abuse, operates a Legal Helpline that receives over 2,000 calls per year and trains hundreds of law students, judges, prosecutors, police, attorneys and service providers in the community. This work is made possible in strong part by the 7,200 hours of volunteer service contributed annually by pro bono attorneys, volunteers and law students.
Please consider supporting the Pace Women's Justice Center through a Dinner Sponsorship this year.
As you can see when you click through this link, based on your level of sponsorship, the PWJC will acknowledge your support prominently and your contribution will be tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. You will also receive seating for the number designated for your sponsorship level. If you commit to being a sponsor at the Silver level or higher by August 1, 2016, your logo and name will be recognized on the invitation as well. This is a firm cut off date because of the time needed to send the invitation to the printer.
PWJC would also like to offer members of the WWBA a complimentary rate for newly-admitted attorneys (class of 2011 or later) of $200 per person. This rate is not advertised on our invitation or on-line, so to register at the complimentary rate, please click on the registration form, hand write in “$200 WWBA NAA Rate” and enclose a check for $200 or your credit card information.
WWBA is grateful to Kim Berg, for representing WWBA on the PWJC Dinner Planning Committee. If you have questions, please email Kim at kberg@gouldberglaw.com
