Using a factual scenario ripped from the headlines, this distinguished panel will dissect ethics and professional responsibility issues with references to the applicable NY Rules of Professional Conduct, precedent, and bar association opinions. Among the issues to be discussed are conflicts of interest; confidentiality; false evidence and testimony; and a lawyer's duty to report another lawyer’s ethical misconduct.
