The basic components of awarding professional compensation in adult guardianship proceedings under the Mental Hygiene Law Article 81 and in matters involving guardianships and decedent’s estates in the Surrogate's Court will be discussed.

The Westchester Women's Bar Association is a chapter of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York. Full and partial scholarships for this program, based on financial need, are available. Full scholarship for the $10 CLE certificate charge (maximum of 10 attendees) for this program are available for attorneys at non-profit organizations that provide direct legal service for victims of domestic violence.
