The WBASNY Domestic Violence Committee organized a Zoom panel presentation on March 18th at 5:30 pm entitled “Protections for Non-Citizen DV and Sexual Assault Survivors-Understanding How the Executive Orders Impact Your Clients.”

This presentation will provide an overview of the legal options available for non-citizen survivors of domestic violence and trafficking and how the current political administrations recent orders and policy changes will impact survivors. Information will also be provided about best practices for safety planning in light of increased detention and deportation efforts.
