Carla D. Glassman, Esq. concentrates in the areas of estate planning and administration, estate litigation, guardianship and elder law, and disability planning. Ms. Glassman is especially experienced in the areas of legal guardianships and long-term care planning, as well as estate planning. Ms. Glassman’s clients include individuals, nursing homes, government and not-for-profit agencies.
Attorney’s Background: Ms. Glassman (B.A. Queens College ’68; J.D. Pace University ’85, Member, Pace Law Review) is a past President of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association, and a member of the New York State and Westchester County Bar Associations. She is a member of the Elder Law, Trusts and Estates, and Real Property Sections of each of these organizations. Ms. Glassman is a former President of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association Foundation and Chair of the Fellows of the New York Bar Foundation for the Ninth Judicial District. She has served on the Westchester County Women’s Advisory Board, pursuant to appointment by the Westchester County Executive. She has lectured for Pace University School of Law’s Center for Continuing Legal Education, the New York State Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates and Elder Law Sections, the Westchester Women’s Bar Association and the Westchester County Bar Association on various topics, including Estate Planning for the Needs of Minors and their Property, Administration of Decedents' Estates, and Article 81 Guardianships. She is a member of the Committee on Guardianships and Fiduciaries of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
