Linda Markowitz is a partner in Rosenthal & Markowitz, LLP, and concentrates in Family & Matrimonial Law, Collaborative Law, and all phases of Estate Planning and Administration, Trusts, Not for Profit & Real Estate Transactions.
Linda obtained her JD from Pace University School of Law in June 1989, Magna Cum Laude, and received the 1988 American Jurisprudence Award for Family Law. She served on the board for the Pace University School of Law Alumni Association from 1994 to 2004. She attended Manhattanville College, Purchase, N.Y. where she received a Master in the Art of Teaching and her Teacher Certification. She did her undergraduate work at New York University, New York, N.Y. where she obtained a B.A. in Sociology.
Linda is a past President of the Westchester Women's Bar Association (1999-2001) and serves as a director on its Board. Linda serves on the Law Guardian Panel. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association and the Westchester County Bar Association. Linda is also a member of the White Plains Bar Association and the Estate Planning Council of Westchester. She is a member of the New York Association of Collaborative Practice. She serves on the Board of Directors of Surprise Lake Camp.
