Crimmigration Law: Perspectives of a Judge, a District Attorney, and Immigration Practitioners
Panelists will discuss the intersection of criminal law and immigration law, providing non-experts an education in the immigration consequences of a criminal conviction and an attorney’s ethical obligations to his or her client in connection with such a conviction.

*CLE: Pending approval by WBASNY in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board for 2 credit hours, 1 in Professional Practice and 1 in Ethics and Professionalism, acceptable for transitional credit for established and newly admitted attorneys. The Westchester Woman’s Bar Association is a chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. Full and partial scholarships for this program, based on financial needs, are available. Full scholarship for the $10 CLE certificate charge (maximum of 10 attendees) for this program are available for attorneys at non-profit organizations that provide direct legal service for victims of domestic violence.
